Fargo Public Schools is the best district in the world; you’d better believe.
We’re all about educating and empowering students to achieve
Excellence; in all they set out to do.
We give them the tools to help their dreams come true.
Lincoln, Kennedy, Bennett, Lewis & Clark
Teachers teach with compassion; it begins in their heart.
Hawthorne, Clara Barton, Roosevelt-Horace Mann

Cinco De Mayo commemorates the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War (1861–1867). This day celebrates Mexican culture and heritage, including parades and mariachi music performances.

May 10: Buddha Day (Vesak or Visakha Puja) marks the occasion of the birth, spiritual awakening, and death of the historical Buddha.

May 27 – June 25: Ramadan is the Islamic month of fasting. Muslims abstain from eating and drinking from dawn until sunset, in efforts to teach patience, modesty, and spirituality.

May 29: Memorial Day in the United States is a federal holiday established to honor military veterans who died in wars fought by American forces.
