The Fargo Public School District announced the assignment of the Ed Clapp Elementary School Principal on March 17, 2014.
Jennifer Schuldheisz has been named to the position of principal at Ed Clapp Elementary School. The new school, presently in the design phase with construction expected to start this spring, will be located at 31st Avenue and 28th Street South, within Ed Clapp Park.
Beginning with the 2014-15 school year, Schuldheisz will become principal at Kennedy Elementary School at the Eagles Center. These students will transition to Ed Clapp Elementary when it opens in the fall of 2015. Schuldheisz will begin the staff hiring process and final preparations for opening the new elementary school in spring 2015.
Schuldheisz is a familiar face in the Fargo School District, having served her entire career here. In 1995, she joined the Lincoln Elementary staff as a special education teacher, and later taught fourth and fifth grades there as well. In addition, she served for two years as a Title I reading teacher and student performance strategist for the District. In July 2011, Schuldheisz accepted her current position of principal at Lincoln Elementary School.
Schuldheisz is a graduate of Minnesota State University-Moorhead. She holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Minot State. In addition, she received her administration credentials from North Dakota State University.
