Spring Arts Fling coming to Bluestem

This Sunday, May 19, the Marcil Commons at the Bluestem Center for the Arts in Moorhead, home of the District’s Trollwood Performing Arts School, will play host to an afternoon of music, creativity and fun for all ages.

The Spring Arts Fling, a community-wide “arts extravaganza” sponsored by The Arts Partnership, Trollwood Performing Arts School, and Moorhead Community Education, takes place from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. inside of the Commons. The venue includes more than 25 booths featuring artwork for sale by artists of the Partnership; art and photography demonstrations; musical and dance demonstrations by Red River Dance, Gasper’s School of Dance, and F-M Ballet; and vocal and instrumental performances by eight different groups. In addition, Trollwood Performing Arts School Shrek The Musical students will perform a vocal number between each of the scheduled performers.

Sunday’s event is free to the public. For more information, visit the Trollwood website.
