Students in the Fargo Public Schools have turned in impressive academic performances at last week’s 39th Annual Tri-College Math Competition held at MSUM.
More than 1,800 students from schools across Minnesota and North Dakota attended the event. At the 11-12 grade level, the District’s high school teams turned in strong performances:
South High School – 1st place
Davies High School – 2nd place
North High School – 4th place
North’s Samuel Lim and Davies’ Matt Sheldon finished in the Top 10 individual scores.
At the 9-10 grade level, FPS schools also did well:
North High School – 3rd place
South High School – 4th place
In that same division, North student Carl Denton finished 2nd, with classmates Lillian Anderson and Elias May placing in the Top 10.
In the middle school division (grades 6-8), Ben Franklin’s David Dowdell finished 3rd; Discovery’s Isaac Weintraub finished in the Top 10.
