“Moon Over Buffalo” opens tonight at Davies

The Theatre Department of Davies High School begins a four-day run tonight of the raucous comedy, “Moon Over Buffalo,” with evening shows beginning at 7:30 p.m. through Saturday, and a Sunday matinee performance at 2:00 p.m.

Moon Over Buffalo was written by playwright Ken Ludwig. It premiered in 1995, and marked the return to Broadway of actress and comedian Carol Burnett. The show’s plot centers around ┬átraveling actors George and Charlotte Hay, and the slapstick drama surrounding their relationships with family, coworkers, lovers, and the pair’s pursuit of Hollywood fame when a famous director comes to town.

Tickets are available in advance by calling the box office, 446-5768, or at the door. Prices are $8.00 (adults) and $5.00 (students and seniors).
