Over 275 participants from Bemidji, Cottage Grove, St. Paul, Devils Lake and Grand Forks joined the host teams for the two-day event. Fargo’s unit and its cadets performed well in both individual and team contests.
Although Fargo’s varsity teams were not eligible for drill trophies, its junior varsity teams put on a stellar performance, placing first in Unarmed Regulation Drill. In the physical fitness competition, Fargo won an overall third and placed third in the Dodge Ball Competition.
Two cadets placed in the top five for the physical fitness competition: junior Nigel Helley tied for 3rd in the men’s division and senior Aline Bisimwa tied for 1st in the women’s division. Junior Christopher Krile also placed in the Top 10 finishers of the Unarmed Knockout competition, which began with over 100 competitors.
