Students: A “New” New Year’s Eve Opportunity

Planning for “Fargo Snow Bash 2010” is underway!

Students in grades 9-12 from Fargo North, South, Davies, Woodrow Wilson, Shanley and Oak Grove are invited to the Edgewood Golf Course Chalet to welcome in the New Year.  Snow Bash activities will include sledding, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, a Guitar Hero video game competition and door prizes.  Food and refreshments will be provided.

Snow Bash is sponsored by Fargo PTSA’s/PTO’s and the Fargo Police Department, in cooperation with the Fargo Park District, as a safe, adult-supervised drug- and alcohol-free event.  There is no cost for students to attend.

Here are the details: 

  • Festivities begin at 9:00 p.m. New Year’s Eve, and end at 1:00 a.m.
  • Students MUST bring a school or other photo ID to be admitted (grades 9-12 only, please)
  • Dress for the weather!
  • Feel free to bring your own sleds, snowshoes and cross country skis
  • Snowshoes and skis will also be available at the chalet
  • Pizza and water will be provided by PTSA organizations
  • Supervision will be provided by PTSA volunteers and Fargo Police School Resource Officers

We are requesting donations to support Fargo Snow Bash 2010 – your generosity is appreciated and will help keep kids safe!  Donations can be dropped off or mailed to:  Fargo South High School PTSA, 1840 15th Avenue South, Fargo, ND 58103.  Please be sure to note “Snow Bash 2010” on your donation.   We also welcome goods and services appropriate as door prizes.
